Dr. Panagiotis Petris holds a PhD in Finance from the Department of Economics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA).

He holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering from Imperial College London, a Master’s degree in Risk Management from Bayes (formerly Cass) Business School – City University of London, and a PhD in Finance from NKUA.

Dr. Petris has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as Investment Analysis, Quantitative Analysis Applications, Real Estate Economics, and Money & Capital Markets at NKUA’s Department of Economics and at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB).

Additionally, he is a Tutor (SEP) at the Hellenic Open University, where he teaches Investment Financing in the Banking, Finance & Financial Technology (FinTech) program.

Dr. Petris has extensive experience in real estate development and management, both in Greece and internationally.

He has worked for several years as a Project Manager and Business Developer in the Greek construction market, overseeing public and private sector projects.

He has also served as a scientific advisor for major corporations, contributing to the development of studies, training programs, and certification frameworks for large organizations such as Moody’s Analytics and the Hellenic Bank Association.

His research interests focus on Finance and Real Estate Assets.

His work has been published in international academic journals, including the International Journal of Finance and Economics and the Journal of European Economic History, as well as in edited volumes.
