NKUA: Ranked Among the Top 1.3% of Universities Worldwide, According to ARWU (“Shanghai Ranking”)

The Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), also known as the “Shanghai Ranking,” was recently announced by the independent, non-profit organization Shanghai Ranking Consultancy.
According to the ranking results, one Greek university is placed among the top 400 universities worldwide, while a total of four Greek universities are included among the top 1,000 universities globally.
Once again, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) stands out as the top Greek university, ranked in the 301-400 range.
The other Greek universities ranked as follows:
- Aristotle University of Thessaloniki: 501-600 range
- University of Crete: 601-700 range
- University of Thessaly: 801-900 range
