Program Objectives
The objective of the “Corporate Finance for Executives” program is to provide participants with theoretical and practical training in corporate finance, including the processes and tools for acquiring and allocating a company’s capital or financial resources with the aim of maximizing shareholder wealth.
The program seeks to enhance and update participants’ financial knowledge, equipping them with the necessary skills to make optimal managerial and investment decisions while emphasizing global market developments.
The program design fosters familiarity with new technologies, highlights the importance of integrating different knowledge areas where necessary, promotes a comprehensive analysis of key financial topics to develop financial skills effectively, and provides applied knowledge that can be immediately implemented in the workplace.
At the same time, the program maintains its educational character, making it useful for professionals seeking employment or career advancement.
Finance professionals worldwide are constantly looking for ways to advance their careers. A popular approach is obtaining a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance (MSc in Corporate Finance). However, such programs typically require one or two years of full-time study. Many professionals working under demanding schedules find it nearly impossible to allocate the time required for a full-length graduate program.
To address this need, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) offers this Executive Program designed to provide business and organizational executives with the essential corporate finance knowledge typically found in a traditional graduate program.
