Program Objectives
The objective of the Business Administration for Humanities Graduates program is to provide theoretical and practical training in business administration to humanities graduates, equipping them with the skills necessary to meet the demands of today’s business environment.
This program aims to provide humanities graduates with essential knowledge to identify, analyze, and develop solutions for specific business challenges in both private and public sector organizations.
Additionally, the program seeks to help participants develop key competencies and skills that can enable them to advance in their careers faster than their peers.
Special emphasis has been placed on international market trends, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared for the evolving job landscape.
Today’s job market increasingly demands professionals who combine business administration expertise with deep knowledge in the humanities, philosophy, and social sciences.
Humanities graduates have honed their ability to understand diverse cultures and perspectives, making them uniquely suited for human-centered strategic thinking—an invaluable skill for business insight.
Due to the nature of humanities education, these graduates develop critical skills such as communication, analytical thinking, emotional intelligence, collaboration, and decision-making, making them exceptional business leaders.
They think and communicate with clarity, persuasiveness, and adaptability, demonstrating a broad perspective, strong customer understanding, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to integrate knowledge with precision and insight.
Furthermore, humanities graduates tend to be more resilient and adaptable in an ever-changing business environment.
As a result, administrative roles in both private and public sectors increasingly demand the skill set that humanities graduates possess—skills that can offer businesses a competitive advantage.
However, humanities graduates often lack formal education in business administration and finance.
To address this need, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens has developed this program to help humanities graduates acquire the latest business administration knowledge, methodologies, and techniques.
