Program Objectives
The Financial Stability Board (FSB) defines Financial Technology (FinTech) as innovation in financial services enabled by technology, leading to new business models, applications, processes, or products with a significant impact on financial markets, institutions, and services.
This broad definition encompasses various innovations emerging from financial institutions and technology companies alike.
The objective of this program is to provide participants with theoretical and practical training in FinTech.
Participants will explore the multiple applications of technological innovation in financial services and the opportunities arising from new business models, applications, processes, and products.
The program covers the conceptual framework of financial technology within banking and regulatory frameworks, digitalization trends, blockchain technology, crypto assets, and their potential. It also analyzes the role of innovation hubs and regulatory sandboxes.
Overall, the program aims to assess the impact of continuous FinTech advancements on financial markets, institutions, and the delivery of financial services.
