Dr. Evangelia Siahou holds a PhD from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a Bachelor’s degree in International and European Studies from Panteion University.
She has extensive experience in higher education. Since 2016, she has also been teaching at the Open University of Cyprus, where she serves as the Coordinator for an MBA course.
In recognition of her teaching excellence, she was awarded the Faculty Excellence Award in 2019 by the University of Liverpool, where she has been teaching postgraduate courses in Human Resource Management since 2017.
Dr. Siahou has also taught at the Hellenic Open University as a faculty member and at the Hellenic American College, where she served as Director of the General Education and Academic Affairs Program and Coordinator of Undergraduate Business Administration Programs.
Her primary research interests focus on Human Resource Management and the Management of Knowledge and Innovation within organizations and businesses.
Her research has been published in international academic journals and presented at various European and international conferences, including the European Academy of Management, the Strategic Management Society, and the British Academy of Management.
She has received two prestigious research awards: the Emerald Literati Network Highly Commended Paper Award in 2015 and the Emerald Literati Network Outstanding Paper Award in 2019.
In the past, she worked in the Strategic Planning Department of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games and in the Human Resources Department of CDE under the auspices of the European Commission in Brussels.
